Job Description: Forklift Driver/Material Handler

Direct Hire Opportunity!

We are an injection molding manufacturer located in Lake Forest, IL, seeking full-time Forklift Drivers/Material Handlers to join our team. We are currently hiring for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Note: Full-time position, Most weekends requires mandatory with weekday off. Weekend flexibilities required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Forklift in a safe manner according to protocol.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Make sure that resin is continuously and properly supplied to the machines.
• Wrap palleted products and place them in the appropriate location.
• Transport items to their designated locations based on a production schedule.
• Document orders, materials, and any stock movements.
• Unload incoming vehicles putting stock in assigned locations if necessary.
• Load outgoing vehicles and ensure materials are secure when needed.
• Maintain equipment by performing all necessary tasks to ensure proper functionality of the vehicle.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience
• Loading and unloading trailers experience
• Good verbal, written, and basic math skills
• Manufacturing/ Warehouse experience is preferred
• Able to work independently
• Good height and depth perception.
• Ability to lift heavy objects about 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in uncomfortable temperatures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good alertness to ensure the safety of the workspace.

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift:7 AM - 3 PM ($18.00/hour)
• 2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM ($18.50/hour)
• 3rd Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM ($19.00/hour)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
