Executive Vice President (EVP) – Global Energy Trading & Infrastructure Platform

Strict Requirement: 15 years senior executive leadership within companies operating physical energy trading (crude oil, refined products, LNG, natural gas) or integrated oil & gas institutions. Applications without direct exposure to institutional-grade physical trading and commercial operations will not be considered.

Role Mandate

The EVP will act as a top-tier executive driving the company’s commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives. The role ensures that financial, trading, risk, and infrastructure decisions are fully aligned with enterprise growth objectives and institutional credibility.

This is a commercially driven executive role: the mandate is to optimize trading performance, capital allocation, risk management, and infrastructure-supported trading initiatives, not just operational oversight.

All infrastructure initiatives (storage, terminals, pipelines, potential refinery acquisition) exist strictly to enhance trading operations and margin optimization.



About the Platform

We are establishing a next-generation global physical energy trading company active in crude oil, refined products, LNG, and natural gas.

Planned infrastructure initiatives are supportive of trading operations only, designed to maximize flexibility, efficiency, and commercial returns.
Future strategic evaluation may include refinery acquisition strictly as a trading enhancement initiative.



Core Responsibilities

Enterprise Leadership
• Lead all functions including trading, finance, risk, operations, and business development.
• Define long-term enterprise strategy, growth objectives, and execution roadmaps.
• Build and manage a high-performance executive team.
• Ensure institutional-grade governance, transparency, and credibility.

Commercial & Trading Oversight
• Oversee global physical trading across crude oil, refined products, LNG, and natural gas.
• Drive early-stage transactions, strategic MOUs, and anchor commercial partnerships.
• Define and monitor KPIs tied to trading performance, liquidity, and operational efficiency.
• Executive leadership experience in physical trading environments is mandatory; direct selling is optional.

Financial & Institutional Positioning
• Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
• Oversee capital planning, liquidity, and trade finance strategies.
• Ensure the company is positioned as a credible, bankable global trading platform.

Infrastructure & Strategic Initiatives
• Supervise planning of storage, terminal, and pipeline projects that enhance trading margins.
• Contribute to evaluation and preparation for potential future refinery acquisition.
• Align infrastructure execution with enterprise commercial objectives.

CEO & Board Interface
• Report directly to CEO and Board on performance, risk, and strategic milestones.
• Translate enterprise strategy into actionable operational outcomes.
• Maintain institutional credibility with all stakeholders.



Candidate Profile – Mandatory Criteria

⚠️ Only candidates with 15 years senior executive leadership experience in institutional physical energy trading environments will be considered.
• 15 years in senior executive roles within global energy trading or integrated oil & gas institutions.
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional corporate structures and high-performance teams.
• Deep expertise in trading operations, risk, liquidity, and financial governance.
• Strong institutional credibility with banks, partners, and boards.
• Experience managing cross-border strategic initiatives and high-value commercial transactions.
• Fluent English required; additional languages advantageous.

• Performance-based long-term incentive structure tied to trading growth and operational performance.
• Monthly compensation commencing upon operational launch.
