The Sales Representative is responsible for engaging with customers, demonstrating product knowledge, and closing sales deals. This role involves identifying prospective customers, following up on sales leads, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The Sales Representative focuses on driving in-store sales, processing transactions, and supporting customers' ongoing needs. The position is critical to ensuring that customers receive exceptional service while maximizing sales growth.

*This role will support our Henderson and Summerlin location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Identify and locate new clients through networking, cold calls, emails, and follow-ups.
  • Guide customers in selecting the most suitable golf cart based on their requirements, preferences, and budgets.
  • Provide accurate and detailed product information to customers, ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and financing options.
  • Coordinate with the service department to address customer inquiries regarding repairs, warranty coverage, and maintenance services.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and that products are fully stocked and presentable.
  • Assist customers with product selection and product recommendations, demonstrating product knowledge and features.
  • Maintain and update client contact information in the system for follow-up and relationship management.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets set by management.
  • Support the team in implementing strategies for regional or national sales initiatives and promotions.
  • Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating as needed.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, golf cart technology, and competitor activities to provide customers with the most up-to-date information.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and complete any required training to enhance sales effectiveness.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Proven ability to maintain and grow client relationships, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software systems for inventory and sales tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sales experience in an automotive or powersports industry is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at times, including moving products for display or sales purposes.
  • Repetitive motion such as typing, writing, or using a mouse.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or business needs, depending on company requirements.
