What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Fabricator position at IPC Foundry Group - Utah?
IPC Foundry Group is looking for a hands-on fabricator to be the execution arm of the engineering department. This person will build, modify, test, and install engineering designs and projects. The ideal candidate is someone who is equally comfortable reading a print, welding a bracket, and troubleshooting on the production floor.
Responsibilities- Fabricate, weld, and assemble engineering and production projects
- Collaborate with engineers to clarify design and flag practical issues before and during builds
- Support root-cause troubleshooting on the floor
Required:
- Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, or other relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and problem solve
- Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic shop machinery
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (SolidWorks experience is a plus)
