The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing and analyzing the results of the complex scientific tests.
Essential Functions

- Analyzer Maintenance
- Preparing and running calibrations and QCs on analyzers
- Monitoring quality control measures and protocols
- Running patient samples (serum, whole blood, urine)
- Reviewing and reporting of results
- Maintaining laboratory logs

Qualifications, Knowledge and Competencies
Qualifications: Certification by ASCP, AMT, or AAB, Medical Technologist License (or Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist) in State of Florida and laboratory experience.
Knowledge: Beckman AU700, Beckman DxH560, Beckman Access 2
Competencies: Technical Capacity, Decision Making, Problem Solving/Analysis, Results Driven, Pipetting
