What you’ll do as a Maintenance Supervisor:
IP Corporation is looking for a hands-on, safety-focused, and team-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to support and guide our Maintenance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring the reliability of equipment and systems, and helping to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. You'll work closely with maintenance technicians and cross-functional teams to keep our manufacturing facility running efficiently and safely.

What you’ll do as a Maintenance Supervisor:
IP Corporation is looking for a hands-on, safety-focused, and team-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to support and guide our Maintenance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring the reliability of equipment and systems, and helping to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. You'll work closely with maintenance technicians and cross-functional teams to keep our manufacturing facility running efficiently and safely.
What you can expect to do as a Maintenance Supervisor:
- Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring daily tasks are completed safely and effectively.
- Oversee routine maintenance and repair activities across all production equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
- Coordinate and prioritize work orders and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Monitor the performance of preventative and predictive maintenance programs to support long-term equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely service and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, procedures, and logs.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues and provide hands-on support when needed.
- Encourage team development through on-the-job training, skill-building sessions, and regular feedback.
- Contribute to projects that improve safety, reliability, and operational performance.
- Participate in site audits and help maintain ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
- Be available to support a 24/7 operation, including occasional weekends or off-shift coverage as needed.
- Take on additional duties to support departmental and organizational goals.
- 5 years in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead technician role.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment such as mixers, compressors, boilers, heaters, electrical systems and utility systems.
- Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance and CMMS systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, including PSM and safe work practices.
- Strong communication, organization, and team-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
