Summary
As a key member of the Iowa Irrigation team, you will be responsible for completing our yearly services as well as implementing irrigation solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers. This role is essential in ensuring that our services are executed with precision and professionalism, contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch irrigation services. On the job training is available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Completing customers' yearly services (Start-up, backflow testing, mid-season check, shut down)
- Diagnosing and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all phases of work.
- Communicating with customers to address concerns, and provide recommendations for repairs
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Valid driver's license
- A working knowledge of irrigation systems, parts, tools, plumbing, or electrical knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to read plans or follow verbal instructions.
- Able to withstand frequent bending over, crouching, and lifting up-to 60 pounds.
- Proficiency with a smart phone/tablet.
