Description
The Pathway Navigator promotes the FREE tuition assistance programs for noncredit short-term training certificates. The Pathway Navigator assists with participants’ experiences and outcomes. As well, the Pathway Navigator establishes and maintains positive relationships with colleagues, staff, and faculty.
Job Duties
- Manages all student interaction including recruitment, intake, assessment, and wrap around services
- Collects,maintains, and records all participant and program data
- Instructs employability skills to students enrolled in E2E programs and community partnerships
- Assists with marketing and outreach events with internal departments and community partnerships
- Implements state and federal mandated programs and departmental polices.
- Participates as an active member of the Adult Education team during meetings and provides timely feedback when requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in career counseling, education, or human services preferred
- Ability to pass a background check, have a valid driver's license and good driving record
Physical Demands
- The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
