Description
This position is responsible for assisting Aviation Maintenance instructors in lab sessions as assigned by the academic dean.
Job Duties
- Assist students and instructor during lab
- Order materials and supplies for the Aviation program
- Contact and coordinate recruiters/employers to visit with students
- Maintain parts inventories, pick up parts or schedule deliveries and distribute materials, parts, and tools.
- Organize and maintain the tool room.
Qualifications
Required
- Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic's License Driver's License
- Relevant experience in Aviation Maintenance
- Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record
Physical Demands
- The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
