Adjunct EMS Instructor-Hourly, CE

This position will be responsible for delivering all levels of the EMS program classes as assigned and must be willing to teach a variety of methodologies. The instructor will also be responsible for course instruction and classroom management. Duties include but are not limited to: teaching classroom/laboratory/clinical sessions, assessment of student learning, responsibility for materials and supplies. Assignments may also include teaching at multiple sites during the course, as class may be held at various IWCC campuses.Required

• Current State of Iowa license
• Ability to pass a background check and MVR
• Knowledge of current National EMS Education Standards
• Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record

• Experience in educational programming is preferred
  
  

Requires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require light lifting. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires ability to distinguish letters or symbols. Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, telephone, faxes, and copiers.
