Position Information: Position Title: Customer Relations Coordinator III - College of Business Job Group: Professional & Scientific Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related experience Special Required Qualifications Drivers License Preferred Qualifications: Business ownership experience Business counseling/mentoring experience Experience starting a business with multiple locations Experience with human resource responsibilities Job Description: Summary Provides customer relation services in a retail or service environment. Requires advanced or specialized knowledge of products and services to make recommendations, resolve complex customer issues, builds relationships, and drives marketing and sales. Example of Duties • Assist in writing Regulatory reports • Traveling around state of Iowa for business counseling. • Provides product information, recommendations, and suggestions to meet customer needs. • Explains policies, procedures, and offerings to customers. • Resolves customer issues. • Coordinates special projects. • Maintains and builds customer/client relationships. • Selects and liaises with vendors. • Assists with marketing, promotions, and sales. Level Guidelines • Senior-level position applies advanced and specialized expertise and competencies • Typically receives general supervision with high level guidance on the most complex assignments • Completes assignments which are moderately difficult or difficult • Resolves issues, including atypical issues, and makes recommendations • May lead projects of limited scope • Functions as “go to.” Responds to inquiries and requests from others inside and outside work area • May act as a lead, assigning tasks and providing guidance to lower level workers • May provide supervision to one to two other staff or lead a small work team • Provides guidance to students Appointment Type: Regular Number of Months Employed Per Year: 12 Month Work Period Time Type: Part time Pay Grade: PS805 Application Instructions: To apply for this position, please click on “Apply” and complete the Employment Application.
