Schedule School Year Hours:- Monday- Friday 7:45am- 4:45pm Summer/Winter Break Hours: 7:30am-4pm Example of Duties Inventory Management Organizing, tracking, and controlling the inventory of essential medical items necessary for providing healthcare services. Utilizing key aspects of procurement systems, stock control, storage and organization, inventory tracking, stock rotation, reordering and replenishment, demand forecasting and quality control. Working with different vendors to negotiate cost effective prices. Ordering medications from the pharmacy and keeping the med room stocked per par value to reduce outdated waste. Work closely with the nursing staff, physicians, pharmacy, and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care. Participate in team meetings, disseminate information, and relay requests to the assistant director of nursing and patient services. Scheduling meetings and Notes Working directly under the assistant director of nursing and patient services scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and taking notes during scheduled meeting times. Data Entry Assisting the Assistant Director of Nursing and Patient Services by helping with data entry, report generation within our electronic health records, and maintaining sensitive information used in quality and infection control studies. Also, assisting in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards for AAAHC. This includes helping prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives. Keeping up to date with vaccine information, healthcare standards and regulations. Campus Outreach Involvement in student outreach programs with the Assistant Director of Nursing and Patient Services such as green dot and stop the bleed trainings and presentations. Participate in new student orientation programs and resource tabling events. Help facilitate offsite vaccination clinics and supply management for offsite events. Participate in campuswide committees working on different university and division initiatives.
