We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Banking Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, including customer service, operations, and lending. By working in various areas of the bank, the intern will develop a well-rounded understanding of diverse banking functions while actively contributing to our day-to-day operations.
Essential Duties
- Work in multiple departments, gaining exposure to various banking operations.
- Participate in projects or tasks as assigned by each department.
- Assist frontline staff in delivering excellent customer service.
- Help with account inquiries, transactions, and other customer-related tasks.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and report preparation.
- Contribute to the loan application and approval process by assisting with documentation.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives.
- Work with other departments to promote bank products and identify referral opportunities.
- Assure confidentiality of customer information and follow policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the banking industry and financial services.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Saturday morning rotation
