Shift Options: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. or 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Position Summary
The Iowa State Fair is looking for friendly and enthusiastic Guest Services Team Members to help Fairgoers have the best possible time at the 2026 Iowa State Fair. Team members will assist Fairgoers by answering questions, providing directions and helping solve problems with a positive, helpful attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer questions about attractions, events, schedules, locations and Fair services
- Assist with guest concerns and escalate issues to supervisors when needed
- Represent the Iowa State Fair with positivity and professionalism
- Work as part of a team to create an outstanding Fairgoer experience
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, take questions and problem solve under pressure
- Reliable, punctual and flexible
- Previous customer service experience is required
- Must be available for scheduled Fair dates
