We are currently seeking a full-time Residential Mortgage and Consumer Loan Officer at our East Village location in Des Moines, Iowa. The Residential Mortgage and Consumer Loan Officer is responsible for developing customer relations through selling and servicing consumer loans, which primarily consists of home equity and mortgage loans, along with other bank products and services.
Candidates that express an interest in this invitation must have a high school diploma or equivalent, an Associate's degree is preferred; a minimum of three years of consumer and/or residential mortgage lending experience; thorough knowledge and experience in administration, documentation, and collection of consumer, mortgage, and small business loans; thorough knowledge and compliance with all applicable bank policies and procedures and lending/bank regulations; ability and willingness to effectively train consumer loan knowledge and expertise; proficiency in computer skills, Outlook, Word, and Excel; successful customer development and sales orientation, projecting a professional attitude and demeanor, and developing new customer relationships; strong analytical/reasoning skills, good organizational and time management skills, and self-motivation; strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy; and excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
