Seasonal Grill & Deck Attendant

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Grill & Deck Attendant to support the daily operations of our outdoor amenity spaces. This seasonal role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming environments for residents and guests. The Grill & Deck Attendant plays a key role in ensuring that grill stations, seating areas, and outdoor decks are consistently well-maintained and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all grill stations, ensuring they are safe, sanitary, and fully operational.
• Sweep and maintain outdoor deck areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
• Remove trash and debris regularly from grills, seating areas, and deck spaces.
• Clean and maintain outdoor furniture, including wiping down tables and cleaning cushions.
• Rearrange and organize furniture to maintain an orderly and welcoming layout.
• Monitor grill and deck usage to ensure residents are following posted guidelines and safety procedures.
• Restock supplies as needed, including cleaning materials and grilling essentials.
• Perform routine inspections of grills and outdoor areas, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized personal work area at all times.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents using the amenity space.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for outdoor amenities.

Schedule & Availability

• Seasonal position (spring/summer months).
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role (hospitality, facilities, or maintenance) preferred.
• Food Safety Certification (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move furniture, equipment, or supplies as needed.
• This position requires a background screening.
