Job Summary
Assists in the direction of the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Finance
Department, with direct supervisory responsibilities of 3 or more administrative support staff.
Oversees, directs, plans, and reviews the work of support staff. Responsible for ongoing analysis
and trending of City’s finances as it relates to investments, budgets, and capital improvement
plans and compiles periodic and annual reports to the Finance Director. Leads and directs support
staff in the preparation and review of the City’s three-year financial plan.
Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and one to three years of related
experience; or five to seven years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education
and experience. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related. Experience in accounting, financial
management, budget preparation, payroll, or treasury management. Must pass
criminal background check.
