We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General/Mammo Technologist to join our healthcare team. Iowa Radiology is a patient-centered practice that promotes a more compassionate approach to medicine. Location: Ankeny office team

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Thursdays off if 32 hour week is preferred)

Flexible full-time schedule of 32 or 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Producing mammography screenings and diagnostic exams following established protocols and guidelines.
• Utilizing general x-ray, bone densitometry and mammography modalities to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately communicate imaging findings.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques to provide optimal services to patients.
• Following established protocols for infection control and patient safety during all procedures.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification and a current Iowa permit to practice in general radiography is required.
• ARRT certification in mammography is a plus.
• Mammography experience preferred, but not required (training available)
• Excellent patient care and communication skills are essential
• Some lifting is involved with this position.
