What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coat Painter position at Iowa PowderCraft?
Duties:
- Perform powder painting and refinishing on metal parts using powder coating gun
- Lift minimum of 52 pounds
- Inspecting parts before painting to ensure do not have defects and are ready for the paint process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the paint booth and paint area
-Documenting each job and tracking powder usage for each job
Requirements:
- Previous experience in powder coating is preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred
- Familiarity with metal products
- Ability to operate power tools and fabricate parts as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision measuring instruments

Iowa Powder Craft is small in size and at this time we DO NOT have health, dental and vision benefits. We DO however offer all employees paid sick leave after 90 days and 40 hours of vacation after 1 year with the company.
