Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Pre-Competitive Swimming Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and coaching, with a focus on teaching swimmers the skills and confidence needed to join our competitive team. Coach would also serve as a fill in coach for our competitive groups.
Duties:
- Plan and supervise swim practice
- Provide individualized coaching to improve technique and performance
- Monitor swimmers' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure the safety of all swimmers during training sessions
- Collaborate with head coach to plan team strategies and goals
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Swim Coach is preferred
- Ability to educate and motivate young swimmers
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with individuals and teams
Additional Notes:
- Practice is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:30-5:00PM
- The Club will facilitate any necessary training
- Potential Future Expansion of the role to include competitive practice groups
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
