The Iosco County Medical Care Facility is a 78-Bed skilled nursing facility located in Tawas City, Michigan. The Iosco County Department of Health and Human Services Board is currently seeking to hire a full-time Administrator to oversee the operations of the Facility.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration or other health related field.
- Minimum of five years of supervisory or administrative experience in a general hospital, health institution, medical care facility, or related health institution.
- Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care and skilled nursing care.
- Knowledge of the functions of all departments within a medical care facility or nursing home.
- Must possess a State of Michigan Nursing Home Administrator’s license.
- Valid Driver’s License at all times.
- Knowledge of Human Resources
- Strong written and oral communication skills
