About the Job
- Title: Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation
- Term: Contract (until May 2026 or longer)
- Location: Remote anywhere in Texas
- Pay Rate: $44.16 Hourly
- Hours: M-F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Earn a $500 referral bonus once your referral completes 90 billable days.
Summary: To analyze complex or technically difficult workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due; to work with high exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation; to ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within service expectations, industry best practices and specific client service requirements; and to identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active TX & LA License
- 5 years' recent workers compensation claims experience
NOTE: Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.
