Road Department Summer Seasonal/Temporary Help
The Ionia County Road Department is currently accepting applications for summer seasonal help. Duties include, but are not limited to, manual labor, patching potholes, and buildings and grounds maintenance. May work in extremely hot weather conditions. Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a valid Michigan driver’s license, provide their own steel-toed boots, and pass a background check and drug screen test.
Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Positions are seasonal from May through the end of August, with the possibility of extending into October. The pay rate is $16 per hour.
