About The Role
In this position, you will model high-quality literacy lessons, provide direct one-on-one classroom coaching, and partner with the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) team to analyze student data and implement targeted interventions. This role also provides professional development support that enables teachers to think reflectively about improving student learning and implementing various practices.
Qualifications Desired
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate
- Master's degree in education or related field with three or more years of teaching experience at Grades K-3 preferred
- Knowledge of current K-3 literacy standards
- Interpersonal skills which promote positive personal relationships with students, parents, staff and community is required
