The Department of Criminal Justice & Sociology at Iona University is seeking applicants for a part-time, Adjunct Professor in Criminal Justice, for the Fall 2026 semester and potentially afterwards.
The department has thriving undergraduate and graduate programs with specializations in security threat assessment, law enforcement, corrections, and community and restorative justice courses, among others.
The courses to be taught in Fall 2026 are undergraduate courses on “Introd. to Criminal Justice” and “ Critical Issues in Policing”. Other graduate and undergraduate courses may also be available in future semesters.
Qualifications:
Required Experience
Candidates with past teaching experience are preferred. A Ph.D. in criminal justice and criminology or a J.D. are preferred.
