The Company provides proprietary engineered solutions to its Semiconductor Fabs worldwide with a focus on the Ion Implantation process. iTS provides improved components and solutions for issues that plague the Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication industry. The Position:
This Senior Sales Engineer will learn about iTS’s extensive product lines and become familiar with its improved designs and components for the various ion implanter tools that iTS supports. The Candidate will work with our VP of Sales and Marketing as well as our Engineering team to design and implement enhancements to improve mean time between failures on our customers’ implanters. This includes promoting patented products to new and existing customers, regularly meeting with customers to design new enhancements, and work with the Engineering department on Research & Development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support Senior Management in the development of new products and the expansion of iTS product lines
- Understand the different Ion Implant systems that iTS supports
- Communicate customer requirements effectively to the Engineering department and assist in the development of new enhancements
- Leverage experience to further develop iTS’s Research and Development team and iTS’s testing capabilities
- Educate and train customers and reps in product installation and application
- Consistently travel to customers to introduce new products and provide customer support
- Create and prepare RFQs, Sales Quotations and Purchase Orders
- Identify new areas of growth with new and existing customers
- Collaborate on new R&D projects with the Engineering team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Science-related field required; Engineering preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry; Experience in Ion Implant or as an Equipment or Process Engineer are preferred.
- Experience in Semiconductor Process Equipment Manufacturing is preferred.
- Foundational understanding of the Ion Implant process and the physics associated with it is preferred.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and to understand basic Geometric Dimensions & Tolerancing is required.
- Must be willing to travel (~25-30%).
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in teams.
- Ability to thrive in a detail-orientated environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
