The Role:We are seeking a Data Center Engineer with strong automation and infrastructure management experience to join the core technology operations team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in supporting and automating datacenter environments in high-performance trading or capital markets settings. You will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of our data center infrastructure, with a focus on improving scalability, reliability, and automation across systems.Key Responsibilities:Manage and support physical and virtual infrastructure across multiple data centers supporting ultra-low latency trading systems.Design and implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting.Maintain and optimize systems for high availability, low latency, and fault tolerance.Collaborate with network, systems, and trading technology teams to ensure seamless platform operations.Perform capacity planning, monitoring, and performance tuning across production and disaster recovery environments.Develop monitoring and alerting solutions using tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, or Grafana.Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.Support change management and documentation best practices.Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.5 years of experience as a Data Center, Systems, or Infrastructure Engineer.Strong automation skills with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments.Understanding of low-latency networking, colocation facilities, and capital markets infrastructure.Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (VMware, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes).Excellent troubleshooting skills in production environments.Strong documentation and communication skills.Preferred Experience:Experience in electronic trading infrastructure or market connectivity environments.Understanding of FIX, multicast, and financial exchange protocols.Experience managing infrastructure in colocation facilities such as Equinix or NY4/CH4.Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.About us:We’re a diverse group of visionary innovators who provide trading and workflow automation software, high-value analytics, and strategic consulting to corporations, central banks, financial institutions, and governments.
