Overview
iOffice/iCopy is an independently owned & operated business of 21 years in Wise County. We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead print production operations, manage workflow, and maximize in-house production capacity. This role oversees print production scheduling, equipment utilization, quality control, waste reduction, and team leadership. With iOffice’s online print ordering platform driving increased demand, systems are in place to increase production capacity by up to 50%. The Production Manager will take ownership of achieving this growth.
Responsibilities
- Ensure production print equipment is running scheduled jobs continuously and efficiently
- Monitor daily production schedules and prioritize jobs to meet deadlines
- Ensure print output meets quality standards before moving to finishing or delivery
- Reduce waste and reprints caused by errors or inconsistent processes
- Lead, direct, and delegate tasks to the production team
- Hold team members accountable to timelines, quality standards, and SOPs
- Ensure production software and workflow tools are used correctly and consistently
- Train team members on equipment, SOPs, and best practices
- Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintain strong communication with management regarding production status and issues
- Proactively escalate equipment or quality concerns to service technicians
Experience
- Experience in the print production industry is preferred but is not a requirement. Candidate must be trainable and able to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Confidence in working with technology and new software systems is a requirement, all processes are well documented for easier on-boarding
- Must be team focused and able to work in a family friendly business environment.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
