What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at IO Datasphere?
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to provide excellent customer service supporting both project and work request needs for the Agency. This person will be a critical member of the Services Business Analyst team, participating in various related work requests and contributing to the operational activities of the BA team.
Tasks:
· Being the liaison between the Agency and the project stakeholders
· Provide expert facilitation and elicitation and process modeling to help develop strategy and requirements for ongoing enhancements and related work projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
· Self-directed, well organized, confident in their ability to build relationships
· Quick to come up to speed on new assignments, and able to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and/or direction.
NOTE: Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule). Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Wednesdays and Thursdays are required onsite days.

Skills Required:
· 7 years - Experience conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling
· 5 years - Experience developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s)
· 2 years - Experience working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions
· 2 years - Experience working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use
Skills Desired – A plus to have:
· 2 years - Experience supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts
· 1 years - Experience working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations
· Bachelor's degree in a related field
