IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support in enhancing and maintaining the Consolidated Application within the NexSys platform. This application is critical for distributing federal formula grants to Local Agencies.

This role will serve as a strategic liaison several Agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting business areas to complete business requirements, perform user acceptance testing, supporting end user documentation and training, with proven leadership experience in cross-functional environments.

Tasks

·        Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

·        Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external consultants.

·        Act as the primary point of contact for field consultants regarding application issues.

·        Communicate issue status, resolutions, and updates to relevant stakeholders.

·        Operational & Technical Liaison

·        Manage and prioritize operational support requests and enhancement tickets in Azure DevOps.

·        Collaborate with vendor teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

·        Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.

·        Leadership & Team Coordination

·        Lead and mentor a team of business analysts.

·        Delegate tasks effectively and ensure alignment with project goals.

·        Facilitate and lead requirement-gathering sessions with both business and technical teams.

·        Documentation & Knowledge Management

·        Maintain comprehensive documentation on the project SharePoint site.

·        Ensure all process changes and decisions are well-documented and accessible.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·        Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

·        Leadership capabilities in cross-functional team environments.

NOTE: Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule). Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. On-site interview required for 2^nd round.

Skills Required:

·        4 years - Proven experience as a business analyst

·        1 years - Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

·        1 years - Experience with Azure DevOps; including creating User Stories and queries

·        Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

·        Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Office.

·        Bachelor''s Degree in a related field

Skills Desired – A plus to have:

·        Experience working with grant management systems or government-funded programs
