Grants Specialist

InzpireU
Dallas, TX Contractor
POSTED ON 4/3/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/1/2026
About the Role (Please read carefully)

We are looking for a contract-based Grant Writer who is not only experienced in writing successful grant proposals, but is also open to using AI and modern technology to significantly improve speed, quality, and outcomes.

This is not a traditional grant writing role.

At InzpireU, we are building systems that combine human expertise with AI-assisted workflows to help organizations apply for more grants, with better alignment and higher success rates. You will be part of that shift.

If you prefer manual, repetitive writing processes, this role is not for you.

If you are curious, adaptable, and willing to learn how AI can enhance your work—you’ll do well here.

What You’ll Do
  • Write and submit high-quality grant proposals for nonprofits, educational programs, and workforce initiatives
  • Collaborate with our team to translate program goals into compelling, fundable narratives
  • Use AI-assisted tools (including our internal platform) to:
  • Generate first drafts
  • Analyze grant requirements
  • Align proposals with funder priorities
  • Review, refine, and humanize AI-generated content to ensure clarity, authenticity, and impact
  • Manage multiple grant applications simultaneously with strong attention to deadlines
  • Continuously improve proposal quality using data, feedback, and outcomes
What Makes This Role Different
  • You will be trained on AI tools and workflows that accelerate grant writing
  • You will work on a platform designed to centralize research, writing, and submissions
  • You will have the opportunity to increase your output and earning potential by writing more grants efficiently
  • You will be part of a team focused on modernizing how grants are written and won
Who This Is For
  • Experienced grant writers who want to scale their impact and income using technology
  • Professionals who are curious about AI and willing to learn new tools
  • Individuals who can balance efficiency with thoughtful, high-quality writing
  • Self-driven contractors who can manage their own workload and deliver consistently

  • Who This Is NOT For👆💡🛑
    • Grant writers who prefer fully manual processes
    • Individuals resistant to learning or adopting AI tools
    • Candidates looking for a purely traditional writing role without experimentation

    Requirements
    • Proven experience writing and securing grants (nonprofit, education, workforce, or related sectors)
    • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
    • Ability to interpret grant requirements and align proposals accordingly
    • Openness to learning and using AI tools in daily workflows
    • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
    Nice to Have
    • Experience with government grants (e.g., WIOA, education, workforce development)
    • Familiarity with AI writing or research tools
    • Experience working with multiple clients or programs simultaneously
