Full Job Description
INX Academy is a private language school that provides quality intensive English courses to adult English learners from diverse backgrounds. We are seeking passionate ESL instructors to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teaches different levels of ESL courses as assigned.
- Prepares lesson plans and appropriate class materials; provide clear instructions.
- Takes attendance and enter grades into school portal in a timely manner.
- Evaluates student progress and extra instruction needs.
- Administers monthly achievement tests to students and assigns grades based on test results.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- TEFL/TESOL Certificate (Required)
- 1 Year ESL/EFL teaching experience to adult learners or at the post-secondary level (Required)
- (If applicable) Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.A. in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Adult Education or related field from a regionally accredited college/university.
- 3 years ESL/EFL teaching experience at IEP programs at the post-secondary level.
- Bilingualism is a plus. Non-native speakers are encouraged to apply!

Job Details: These are the classes we offer. We are accepting applications for all positions but are looking for evening positions.
- Morning classes: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
- Two day classes: Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Evening classes: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 PM - 10 PM
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
