Your impact
We're looking for a highly technical Account Executive who will drive revenue growth and own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and technical discovery through architecture, demo, and close. You’ll serve as both the business driver and technical trusted advisor for our clients, combining deep technical expertise with sales execution to win customer relationships and generate revenue.
What you’ll do
- Drive new customer acquisition by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business across target verticals
- Conduct deep technical discovery sessions to understand customer architectures, requirements, latency budgets, and integration constraints
- Independently run opportunities from first conversation through contract negotiation and technical handoff to implementation
- Work with engineering teams, CTOs, and technical decision-makers to address questions and ensure they fully understand our product offering
- Help guide prospects through technical evaluations, ensuring and evaluations are set up for success
- Partner with Inworld’s product, engineering, and TPM teams to surface feedback, influence roadmap priorities, and ensure smooth customer onboarding and expansion
- Contribute to shaping GTM strategy by identifying new verticals, use cases, and expansion opportunities
What you’ll bring
- 5 years in technical sales at high-growth startups with a track record of acquiring customers for developer-focused products
- Revenue-driven mindset, with strong pipeline management and ability to drive deals to close independently
- Comfortable reading code, debugging integration issues, and speaking credibly with engineering teams
- Understanding of realtime conversational AI pipelines (STT/ASR, LLMs, TTS, etc.)
- Comfort translating complex technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical audiences; able to white-board architectures and run live demos
- Thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments; see constant change as opportunity and can build process where none exists
- Prior exposure to a product-led growth strategy and usage-based business model
- BA/BS degree or higher, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site in our South Bay office a few days a week).
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $240,000 USD. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes equity and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, level, and additional factors, including competencies, experience, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
