Mid-Level Web App Developer

We’re seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer with a strong background in web development to join our development team. The ideal candidate has around 5 years of experience building and maintaining web applications, primarily using PHP, with additional exposure to .NET technologies. This role involves supporting and extending our internal ERP systems — experience with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP platforms is highly preferred.

You’ll work closely with other developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain applications that improve operational efficiency across the organization. Occasional travel may be required to support company sites or project implementations.

Applicants must be located and able to regularly commute to our office in Tempe, AZ. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal and external web applications using PHP, JavaScript, and ASP.NET.
• Support and integrate applications with JD Edwards (JDE) and other enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain APIs and components where applicable.
• Design, write, and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and reports.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in production and development environments.
• Maintain clear and organized documentation for systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of professional web development experience.
• Proficiency in PHP, including frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Working knowledge of .NET Framework / .NET Core (C# preferred).
• Strong understanding of SQL Server development and database design.
• Experience integrating or extending ERP systems — JD Edwards (JDE) experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, REST APIs).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with consistent in-office collaboration.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support or project needs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with IIS and Apache web servers.
• Knowledge of Azure or other cloud services.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or logistics systems.
• Exposure to reporting tools like SSRS or Power BI.
