We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of light industrial construction projects. This role plays a key part in managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met while maintaining strong relationships with project partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
- Support the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and work plans in alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
- Cost & Change Management
- Track project costs, assist with change orders, and support progress billings to help ensure projects stay within budget.
- Document Control
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, and submittals.
- Quality & Safety Oversight
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with design documents, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination
- Work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to support timely delivery of materials, equipment, and completed work.
- Construction Support
- Provide technical and logistical support during construction, assisting with on-site problem solving and workflow coordination.
- Client & Team Communication
- Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams, providing project updates and addressing issues proactively.
- Project Closeout
- Assist with final inspections, punch lists, and the completion and turnover of as-built documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in construction project management or project engineering
- Experience with light industrial or commercial construction preferred
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PE license and/or OSHA certification a plus, but not required
