Brief Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will have overall responsibility for directing, guiding, and managing the provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for InVision Human Services and its family of companies. The Director, Human Resources will ensure human resources strategies are aligned with those of the company and support the company’s core values, vision, and mission. The position will have leadership responsibility for the following functional areas; staffing and recruitment; employee benefits; compensation; workers compensation; employee relations; and HR training initiatives. This is a senior management level position in the organization and reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Essential Functions
Directly supervises HR individual contributor roles. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resource Management or appropriate related field. Master's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 10 years management experience gained through increasingly responsible positions in Human Resources. Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment and recruitment, compensation and benefits, organizational planning, employee relations and training and development. Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws. Ability to comprehend, access and utilize electronic medium and various computer programs.

Essential Functions
- Develops and implements the strategic human resources plan.
- Supports the executive and senior management team by providing advice and counsel on all human resources and related matters.
- Ensures the company is following all federal, state, and local regulations as it pertains to human resources and employment law.
- Develops and updates HR policies, procedures, and practices as needed and communicates changes effectively.
- Develops new and improve existing HR metrics.
- Oversees the HR “brand.”
- Oversees and directs the annual review, preparation and administration of agency wage, salary, and benefits programs.
- Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, and/or as directed by the Chief Human Resources Officer on human resource matters.
- Recommends, evaluates, and participates in staff development for all levels of positions in the company.
- Develop and implements a strategy for positive employee relations in the company.
- Assesses, analyzes, and performs all HR due diligence with potential new acquisitions and/or partnerships.
- Oversees executive compensation methodologies.
- Oversees and directs existing HR functions and staff.
