Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development / Sales Representative role based in Bakersfield, CA. The person in this role will identify and qualify new business opportunities, including outbound prospecting, responding to inbound inquiries, and nurturing leads through the sales pipeline. Daily responsibilities include conducting sales calls and meetings, presenting security solutions tailored to client needs, preparing proposals and service agreements, and following up to close new contracts. The position supports ongoing client relationship management by checking in with existing accounts, identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction in collaboration with operations and management teams. The role also involves maintaining accurate CRM records, tracking sales activities and performance metrics, and contributing feedback to refine sales strategies and marketing efforts.
Qualifications
  • Strong Sales and Business Development skills, including consultative selling and opportunity management.
  • Experience with Inside Sales and Lead Generation, including outreach, qualification, and pipeline building.
  • Excellent Communication abilities, both verbal and written, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Prior experience in security services, facilities services, or B2B service sales is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Comfort working with CRM or sales tracking tools and basic proficiency with standard office software.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits as needed.
