We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to support our operations by overseeing warehouse and material flow activities, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely delivery of materials to support production.
Job Summary:
Oversee the efficient operation of warehouse and material flow within the Boat Completion Center. As an integral component of the production ramp, the Warehouse Supervisor will execute corporate supply chain strategy related to receiving, inventory control, storage, internal logistics, and shipping, while leading the warehouse team to support production requirements and business objectives.
Primary Areas of Responsibilities (may include and not limited to):
Strategy
Execute warehouse and materials management strategy in alignment with corporate supply chain objectives
Support production ramp by ensuring timely availability and flow of materials to the line
Maintain inventory accuracy and control to enable reliable reporting and operational decision-making
Collaborate with Scheduling, Production, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Procurement to optimize material flow
Monitor and report key performance indicators including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and warehouse efficiency
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, kitting, and shipping
Ensure proper material control, storage, and point-of-use delivery to support boat completion schedules
Supervise inventory processes including cycle counts, reconciliations, and adjustments
Manage internal material flow including staging, kitting, supermarkets, and Kanban systems
Lead shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate resolution of material shortages, discrepancies, and expedited needs
Ensure accurate execution of ERP transactions related to receiving, inventory movement, and shipping
Maintain warehouse organization, layout optimization, and space utilization
Support new warehouse setup or reconfiguration as production scales
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and OSHA requirements
Maintain accurate documentation for inventory movements and warehouse transactions
Support internal and external audits related to inventory and operational processes
Enforce standard operating procedures and controls within warehouse operations
Lead, train, and develop warehouse personnel to support operational goals
Assign and monitor daily work activities to ensure productivity and accuracy
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Address performance and attendance issues in coordination with HR
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and throughput
Support lean material flow initiatives in coordination with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve supply chain and production performance

Education and Experience:
- BA/BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required
- 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials management within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing material management methods
- Knowledge of BOM and router concepts in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of accounting consequences of ERP system transactions as related to set-up and execution
- Prior supervisory experience leading warehouse or logistics teams
- Knowledge of ERP systems related to inventory, receiving, and shipping
- Understanding of material flow, inventory control, and warehouse operations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout warehouse and production areas for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching overhead
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, including exposure to heat, humidity, noise, and dust
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity sufficient to handle materials, operate equipment, and review documentation
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
