What you'll do
- Administer aesthetic treatments including botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and laser therapies with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine suitable treatment options based on individual goals and medical history.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all patient records are up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans that address both aesthetic and health-related concerns.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal results.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and advancements in aesthetic medicine to deliver the best possible care.
- Manage inventory of aesthetic supplies and equipment to ensure a well-organized treatment environment.
Basic qualifications
- Valid nursing license with experience in a medical or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in administering injections and performing aesthetic procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to aesthetic treatments.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Background in critical care or emergency medicine is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
- Previous experience working in outpatient settings or ambulatory surgery centers is a plus.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
