What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer position at Inview Imaging Diagnostics?
At Inview Imaging we strive to provide the highest level of care to our patients throughout California. We are currently seeking a qualified full-time Sonographer at our Fremont location.
Applicants should have an ARDMS certification and must have a minimum of 1 year experience General ultrasound procedures in a clinical setting.
Compensation level is based on applicant's experience.
Travel to Oakland and Antioch locations will be required during two week training period.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures. Perform ultrasound exams following established protocols for patient care and safety.
2. Ensure equipment is in working order. Report equipment malfunctions to manager.
3. Log procedures completed and process related paperwork into RIS and PACS.
4. Maintain examination rooms and stock necessary medical and ultrasound supplies.
5. Perform basic medical assisting duties to ensure good patient flow. These include triaging and rooming patients, and assisting the front desk with scheduling questions as needed.
6. Ensure all exams achieve a radiographic interpretation by clarifying discrepancies and working with Radiologists.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School Diploma/GED.
2. BLS certification required.
3. ARDMS certification required.
SKILLS:
1. Ability to communicate in English both verbally and written
2. Excellent interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent communication skills with patients, staff, management and Radiologists.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
