Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises.
- Cash Handling, basic math required.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct regular patrols of the grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary during incidents.
- Document incidents, accidents, and any unusual occurrences in detail.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities or behaviors.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques.
Requirements
- Current level 2 guard card for the state of Texas
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security required.
- First aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous experience in a security role is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties, including standing for long periods and walking considerable distances.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on the location of assignments.
Shifts - Flex (Monday - Friday between the hours of 0500 - 2100)
