We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Event Manager. This entry-level role comes with paid training and offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, while supporting the execution of exciting events.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Setup: Assist with event logistics, setup, and breakdown, ensuring everything is in place for smooth event operations.
Team Supervision: Assist in overseeing event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations and effective team collaboration.
Guest Engagement: Interact with event attendees to provide helpful information and enhance their overall experience.
Promotional Material Distribution: Support the distribution of promotional materials to maximize event attendance and engagement.
Event Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Monitor event activities, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and ensure events stay on track.
Collaborative Strategy Development: Work with the team to develop and implement effective event strategies that achieve promotional objectives.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and collaboration.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple event tasks efficiently.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on event schedules.
Passion for event planning and management, with a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field.
Previous event planning or management experience is a plus but not required.
A degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
