Investment Realty, Inc. is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Property Management Team Member to join our team. This position will assist with the day-to-day management of both single-family and multi-family rental properties and will involve a combination of office responsibilities, property visits, tenant communication, and administrative work.
The ideal candidate is someone who is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to communicate effectively with tenants, property owners, vendors, and prospective residents while managing multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Property Showings: Conduct showings and tours of available rental properties for prospective tenants.
- Property Inspections: Perform move-in, move-out, and routine property inspections to document property conditions and identify maintenance needs.
- Tenant & Client Communication: Respond professionally and promptly to phone calls, emails, and questions from tenants, prospective tenants, property owners, and vendors.
- Leasing & Documentation: Assist with rental applications, leases, notices, and other property management documentation.
- Maintenance Coordination: Receive, document, and coordinate maintenance requests with tenants and vendors while helping ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Property Management Software: Enter, update, and maintain accurate property, tenant, lease, and maintenance information in our property management software.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain professional relationships with tenants and clients while addressing questions, concerns, and day-to-day issues.
- General Office Support: Assist with other administrative and property management duties as needed.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software
- A dependable vehicle and reliable transportation for property visits and inspections
- A valid driver's license
- A high school diploma or GED
- The ability to work independently while also being a team player
- The ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations professionally
Previous property management or real estate experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
