We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Resident Property Manager to lead operations at a 126-unit community in Ventura. This role is ideal for a strong leader with a background in multi-family housing who can deliver excellent resident service while driving property performance.
Position Summary:
Oversee all aspects of daily community operations, including leasing, resident relations, financial performance, and team leadership. This position reports to the Regional Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and support on-site team members
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve resident concerns promptly
- Oversee leasing, renewals, and resident retention efforts
- Manage rent collection, deposits, and delinquency follow-up
- Ensure accuracy of reports, records, and Yardi data entry
- Coordinate maintenance, make-ready units, and property inspections
- Manage vendor contracts and monitor work quality
- Execute marketing strategies and shop competitive properties
- Maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
Qualifications:
- 3 years of multi-family property management experience (100 units preferred)
- Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of Yardi is a plus
- Solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations
