Job Title: DB2 Architect - Migration Specialist

Location: Albany, NY (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (with potential for extension)

Overview

We are seeking a DB2 Migration Specialist / DB2 Architect to support a database modernization initiative involving migration from CA IDMS to IBM DB2. The role will focus on database conversion, optimization, and modernization activities as the project progresses.

Duties

  • Support the migration of data and database functionality from CA IDMS to IBM DB2.
  • Provide DB2 architecture and migration expertise for database conversion activities.
  • Support DB2 optimization and modernization efforts.
  • Collaborate with project and technical teams to address migration complexity and remaining conversion work.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of relevant database architecture, migration, or modernization experience.
  • Experience with CA IDMS-to-IBM DB2 database migration.
  • Experience supporting database conversion, optimization, and modernization initiatives.
  • Ability to work onsite in Albany, NY
