About the job

Invested Talent is excited to be partnering exclusively with one of the fastest growing and most exciting hyperscale businesses operating across the globe.

Our client is a Nasdaq listed business at the intersection of AI cloud infrastructure and data centre development, with billion dollar investments from some of the industry's biggest names in AI.

Having undergone a significant strategic transformation, the business now holds a unique and strategically important position in the global AI infrastructure and GPU compute ecosystem. The marketing function is being built to match that ambition and this role sits at the centre of it.

The culture is fast, collaborative and genuinely innovation led. AI is not a talking point here, it is embedded in how the team operates day to day.

What's on Offer:

  • Strong, market-leading salary of $110,000 to $150,000 USD plus short and long-term incentives and ESOP
  • Hybrid working from a premium Mission Rock, San Francisco office
  • The opportunity to own a high-profile global events function end to end at a pivotal moment
  • A marquee stage including NVIDIA GTC, Supercomputing, and AWS re:Invent, plus partner activations with NVIDIA, Dell, and AMD
  • Exposure to a genuinely global, hyperscale business at a pivotal moment in its trajectory
  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance plus 401(k) with employer match

The Role:

Events are a critical commercial and brand channel for the business. From major industry conferences like GTC and Supercomputing through to investor briefings, customer summits, and partner activations, the company's event presence must reflect its ambition and calibre.

We are looking for an Event Manager who can own this function end to end, bring commercial rigour to every activation, and represent the business with confidence in front of customers, partners, and investors alike.

This is a B2B-focused role with one direct report. It requires someone genuinely embedded in the corporate technology scene, who speaks the corporate language and has the credibility to hold senior conversations at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the global events calendar, planning and executing a portfolio of B2B events including industry conferences, customer summits, investor days, partner activations, and owned events
  • Manage the business's presence at major technology events including NVIDIA GTC, Supercomputing, and AWS re:Invent, overseeing all logistics, content, staffing, and commercial follow-up
  • Work closely with the Partner Marketing Manager on joint activations with NVIDIA, Dell, AMD, and other key technology partners
  • Manage and develop one direct report, providing clear direction, support, and development
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to ensure events drive measurable pipeline, customer engagement, and investor confidence
  • Manage event budgets with rigour, tracking spend, maximising ROI, and reporting clearly on outcomes
  • Manage external vendors, agencies, and production partners to the highest standard
  • Support the international event presence across Pacific and European markets as the business expands

What You'll Bring:

  • 4 to 10 years in event management with a strong B2B technology focus
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale technology industry events and corporate event programs
  • Experience working with NVIDIA partner events or within the technology partner ecosystem is highly advantageous
  • Deep B2B experience, fluent in the corporate language and comfortable in the corporate scene
  • A commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how events drive pipeline, customer relationships, and brand
  • A confident and polished communicator, comfortable presenting in front of senior audiences including investors and customers
  • Experience managing a direct report or demonstrating leadership within a team environment
  • Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
