Invest Cast in Osceola WI. 54020, is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our machining team. The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce machined components that meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and company quality standards.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to producing quality parts safely and efficiently.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:30 am - 4:00 pm. or 6:00 am - 4:30 pm.
What you will be responsible for:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to meet production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and machining instructions.
- Read, interpret, write, and modify CNC programs using G-code and M-code as needed to ensure accurate and efficient machining.
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy.
- Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency.
- Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, and production delays.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow established procedures.
- Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety policies and quality standards. Reading and writing G&M code.
- Move material/finished components to and from workstation. Lifting requirement is 50 lbs.
What you will bring:
- 3 years of CNC machining and manufacturing experience.
- 3 years of experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfort working in a hands-on, physical manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn multiple parts of the foundry process.
- Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solves problems as they come up.
