Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in medical laboratory science, with a focus on MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of laboratory performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care and support.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate program in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Current and unrestricted Lab Specialist licensure for the state of CA.
- At least one year of experience as a Lab Specialist in MLT within the last two years.
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, NRP, NIH and TNCC may be required by some client facilities specialties.
