Position Summary:

Inver Grove Toyota is seeking a driven and dynamic Finance Director (Producing Role) to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will actively work deals, sign contracts, and contribute directly to production while also leading and developing the finance team.

This role is ideal for a high-performing finance manager ready to step into leadership without giving up deal involvement. Previous director-level experience is not required—we’re looking for the right individual with integrity, passion, and the work ethic to help shape the next chapter of our growing dealership.

Schedule: Full-Time; In-Person Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively structure, present, and sign finance deals as part of the F&I team
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while maintaining personal production
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as dealership policies
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to deliver a seamless, high-quality customer experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions and financial partners
  • Oversee deal flow, funding, and product performance across the department
  • Drive performance through coaching, accountability, and process improvement
  • Uphold a culture of integrity, transparency, and customer-first decision making


Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of automotive finance, deal structuring, and applicable regulations
  • Proven ability to both produce at a high level and lead a team
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for the automotive industry and a strong drive to succeed
  • Commitment to integrity and doing what’s right for customers and team members
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required)
  • Valid driver’s license (required)
  • Ability to commute to Inver Grove Heights, MN (preferred)
  • Relocation to Inver Grove Heights, MN before start date (preferred)


Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based within a dealership setting
  • Fast-paced, high-volume, customer-facing environment
  • Frequent collaboration with sales, management, and financial institutions
  • In-person role based in Inver Grove Heights, MN


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $200,000 - $275,000 per year (performance-driven earnings based on both personal production and department results)
