ISC, part of EFC International, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to own and grow the Kansas City metro and surrounding region, including re-engaging former customers, expanding current accounts, and winning new business across construction, contractor, industrial, and commercial markets. This role is responsible for building lasting customer relationships, managing a disciplined sales pipeline, and showing customers the value ISC and EFC deliver beyond price. Excellent communication, prospecting, and relationship-building skills are essential. Experience in the construction or fastener industries is a plus.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow the Kansas City metro and surrounding region.
- Balance re-engaging former customers, expanding current accounts, and winning new business.
- Prospect through cold calls, site visits, and contractor and industry networks.
- Build trust with purchasing, operations, project managers, and owners at customer accounts.
- Sell ISC’s full product line, including fasteners and specialty components, strut channel and fittings, sign hardware, and weld studs.
- Communicate the value of ISC/EFC beyond price, including availability, service, and reliability.
- Manage opportunities and pipeline in CRM and forecast with confidence.
- Coordinate with Inside Sales, Purchasing, Sourcing, and Quality teams to deliver for customers.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years of B2B outside sales experience.
- Experience selling to construction, industrial, contracting, and/or commercial customers.
- Proven history of turning around an underperforming territory, with results to show it.
- A hunter’s drive paired with the patience to build relationships that last.
- Disciplined pipeline management using a CRM.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license; comfortable with daily local and regional travel, with occasional overnights.
- Experience selling fasteners, strut, construction supplies, or MRO products in the Kansas City market is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
