SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary: A Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food/beverages, maintaining a clean restaurant and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. Servers act as the main point of contact between customers and the kitchen staff. Join our lakeside team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Hospitality greeting with customers and present menus
- Take accurate and timely food and drink orders
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Check on customers to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
- Process payments (cash, credit, gift cards or digital)
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
- Upsell menu items, specials, events and promotions when appropriate
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to details with customers
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Customer service experience preferred (but not always required)
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Team-oriented attitude
Working Conditions:

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus
